John A. Baron

John works with clients to identify sources of unnecessary physical and vocal tension, enabling them to release their full and connected presence into any room. He has worked in private practice in his native England, in Italy and in the US, with diverse organizations including Fireman’s Fund Insurance, Google Inc., San Francisco Opera, Cal State East Bay, Voicetrax, as well as for the Esalen and Sundance Institutes. John has enjoyed 25 years of work with the San Francisco Ballet.

John is a senior teacher/teacher trainer of The Alexander Technique, used extensively by actors, speakers and performers throughout the arts world as a means of mind-body integration and for dealing with performance tension. He lives and works in Sausalito, California.
